Northwest Autism Center and Whitworth University are proud to join forces in providing therapeutic services to both individuals with autism and their families. Through this partnership, the two organizations are broadening their efforts to serve students, clients, and the greater Spokane community.
Located at Whitworth University’s Tacoma Hall, alongside its Marriage and Family Therapy Center, Northwest Autism Center’s state-approved applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment clinic provides intensive ABA treatment services to children, ages 2 through 5, while providing practicum experience opportunities to graduate students enrolled in Whitworth’s newly unveiled ABA master’s degree program. Students who obtain practicum experience in the clinic meet the requirements for seeking Board Certification in ABA. The shared location of these outreach programs reflects a spirit of integrative service to community and mutual commitment to interdisciplinary experiential learning.
