Diagnosis Treatment/Intervention |
Adults, Children 3+ |
Service provision includes diagnostic assessment, consultation, parent education and psychotherapy (behavioral & emotional intervention, social skills training). Appropriate patient referrals include children(ages 3+), adolescents and adults ranging from PDD, NOS diagnoses to those identified as falling on the Autism Spectrum. Insurance and private pay accepted.
We offer Social Skills groups for children and teens with Asperger's Disorder or high functioning Autism or high functioning PDD. We use the UCLA research-based models (see links on www.spokanebrain.com for details to read more about their development and details).
Parent participation is required. While the children or teens are in their groups, the parent(s) attend a concurrent group with a different therapist to understand what their children are learning and how to support their children's newly learned skills at home. Groups are continuously forming. Children's groups run 12 weeks and teen groups run 14 weeks. Please see our website or call for details. |
