Preschool aged Children
I have been working with preschool aged children with disabilities, primarily autism, since 2001 where I began working for a nonprofit program that integrated typically developing children and those with various disabilities. I worked as a lead program assistant for 4 years in which I assisted in developing and implementing curriculum based on every child's level. I then took a position with the University of Oregon where I worked for roughly 4 years as well, in a preschool classroom designed specifically for children with autism.  I worked in a very structured program working on all areas of development using ABA and implementing the STAR program (Socialization Training and Reinforcement Program).

Jigsaw Junction provides quality one-on-one intervention using ABA as the primary mode of instruction. Similar to the home therapy model, we individualize instruction to the unique learning needs of each child. But at Jigsaw Junction, Program Managers and tutors work side-by-side at the center streemlining instructional delivery and insuring quality intervention. With multiple students receiving intervention in one central location, the model allows natural opportunities for social interaction and observations, drafting IEP goals, attending IEP meetings and other related services that contribute to the child's overall intervention package.
